Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with team to determine client needs, selling concepts, and strategies
  • Effectively articulate ideas; present to groups internally and externally
  • Help develop and guide creative ideas based on input from client, agency team, and personal research
  • Provide supervision for junior design associates through thoughtful assignment of duties, coaching, mentoring, training, and building a team-based work environment
    • establish performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, coach for success and continuous improvement
  • Conceive and execute creative consistent with the agreed-upon strategy.
  • Ensure that design deliverables are on time, professional, engaging, persuasive and supported by a sound rationale.
  • Make daily decisions and provide direction on creative concepts and executions based on brand appropriateness, target audience relevance and potential for business results.
  • Deliver integrated, brand-appropriate creative solutions across all digital delivery platforms.
  • Manage the ideation, storyboarding and production of traditional and digital creative, including collateral, graphics, video and social media.

Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in typography, design language across multiple mediums, including web, print design, and print production
  • Understanding of a big idea, delivering them consistently
  • Contributes conceptually, understands the role strategy plays, and helps execute ideas across channels
  • Knows how to conceive and execute deliverables, consistent with the agreed-upon strategy

  • Comfortable handling multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Delivers every idea and assignment with creativity and passion
  • Ability to translate a marketing need into a unique, creative brand or campaign
  • Feels personally accountable for the quality of creative output, including proofing, reviewing and critiquing the work of junior designers
  • Maintains consistently high standards for creative work that enhances the client-agency relationship, proactively learning new techniques
  • A passion for getting it right with an attention to the little things, tempered by a willingness to listen and understand different POVs
  • Open communication with supervisor to share progress of all deliverables
  • Cultivate an environment where everyone is 100% vested in the success of others
