Maureen Collins, MPH
As Executive Director of Accounts, Maureen leads the account team and manages our client relationship infrastructure for success. With nearly 20 years of experience in health-related communications, marketing and public relations, she is an expert in brand communications and social marketing campaigns aimed at hard-to-reach and ethnically diverse communities. She is particularly skilled at distilling complicated subject matter into clear and concise messaging for low health literacy.
Prior to joining ThinkArgus, Maureen worked at Edelman, Ogilvy, and Weber Shandwick, focusing on accounts within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, including the National Institute of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Most recently, Maureen served as the Director of Communications & Marketing at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). In her five-year tenure as the Dean’s primary communications advisor and writer, she produced compelling internal and external communications to keep various TUSM audiences and key stakeholders engaged, informed, and united during some of our community’s most challenging times. A key member of TUSM’s inaugural Anti-Racism Committee, Maureen is deeply committed to health equity and social justice – which makes her a perfect match for ThinkArgus’ values and client focus.
Maureen is a former student athlete and captain, and she takes great pride in her ability to lead and motivate a team to work toward a common goal, especially while under pressure. A lover of true crime documentaries and fixer of home appliances, you’ll constantly find Maureen trying to solve or improve upon something. A D.C. native and unfortunate home team sports fan, she is always up for an adventure around Boston or the Cape with her dog, partner, and his six- and nine-year old daughters who keep her laughing and humble.
