Born in Argentina, three-time, Emmy award-winner Lucas H. Guerra is the founder of ARGUS. At the age of 17, Lucas traveled to the states for an English immersion class and found himself accepted at the Art Institute of Boston (AIB).

As a young entrepreneur, Lucas started ARGUS in 1994 while still a student at AIB. In the beginning, he focused on the editorial and graphic design of architectural books for companies like Rockport Publishers and McGraw Hill. Over 50 books later, and upon graduating with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 1997, Lucas expanded ARGUS into the areas of multicultural marketing and advertising.

As Principal and Creative Director with over 18 years of professional experience in graphic design, concept development, art direction, and TV/Radio production, Lucas leads all creative work with a passion for excellence.

On a pro-bono basis, Lucas has provided creative work for many Boston non-profit organizations including St. Francis House, and League of United Latin American Citizens. He has also taught at the Art Institute of Boston, and has been a guest lecturer at the Massachusetts College of Art.

Lucas serves on the Lesley University Board and the Massachusetts Governor’s Advisory Council on Immigrant and Refugees. He is also a Commissioner of Commonwealth Corps.
