ARGUS supports teen safe driving efforts with video contestARGUS developed and branded the Dance. Don’t Chance. Prom Shorts Video Contest in 2007 in partnership with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to reduce unsafe driving and underage drinking among teenagers during the prom and graduation season. In its third year, ARGUS continues to engage teens to produce a 60-second video on safe driving and enter it into a contest for a chance to win a dream prom package for their high school. Corporate sponsors for the contest include JAM'N 94.5, AAA Southern New England, Boston Limo, Dellaria Salons, Men's Warehouse, vitaminwater, e.l.f. cosmetics and Best Buy.
The program remains widely popular among teenagers. 70 videos were submitted from high schools throughout Massachusetts. ARGUS would like to congratulate this year’s winner, Tim Lewis, from Pembroke High School!
You may view the winning video on our Dance. Don’t Chance. Prom Shorts YouTube page.
